Hi all
so based on a previous diagnosis I am treating a spot which is probably a wart with podophyllotoxin (condyline solution). In the first pic you can see the spot before starting medication and in the second one it is after a day of using the cream
Is this normal? This has happened before, the wart gets very thick, sometimes it hurts but eventually it goes away.
Ηave you ever seen anythig similar? Is this normal?

Have you seen a medical specialist such as a Urologist or Dermatologist / Skin Specialist?
This is quite a common problem, and no doubt there will be a range of common treatments. The one I am aware of is imiquimod - what you need to be sure is that there are no other complicating factors, such as another skin condition being present and is therefore preventing normal recovery.
Essentially, are you being treated by a medical professional, have you seen a Skin Specialist or a Urologist … ?

some months ago a GP saw it an prescribed condyline. Due to COVID-19 and as I dont live in my home country seeing a specialist is not easy…Right now the wart is almost gone but I’m worried because they come back in this very specific part of my penis.

Hi I have something similar and was also prescribed condyline solution, which i have used for the past 3 days.
Can you tell me what is supposed to happen to indicate that this is working/healing? i.e. does it eventually peel off like a scab, does it liquify and disintigrate, etc?
After applying condiline my area affected has slightly puffed up, whiter and harder almost like a scab.

well initially it doesnt get any better. It actually gets worse. And after a few days if you scratch it it will start going away, I could describe it like peeling off,as you said. It will take several days but in most cases you won’t need to put the condyline for a second time the following week.

I’d really like to know how you guys are making out with the genital warts issue. I have a couple on my penis, and have started using Condyline. After three days, one of them went away, but seems like it’s slowly coming back. The other one has not gone away yet, and so I continue with the Condyline. The frustrating thing is that I was not able to see my dermatologist because of covid, but I did send pics. I am starting to wonder if it really is a wart or just part of the skin on my penis. I hate that this is happening. It’s frustrating, especially since it’s a part of our anatomy that very much defines our masculinity.

Hey Robert,
I hope you are well. How is the Condyline treatment coming along? Did it resolve the genital wart? I am using it now too. Just wondering how other guys who have the same issue are managing. I just added a post to the overall conversation here with Dim and Wee Gie. It’s great that this forum exists for guys to talk and share about such a personal issue.
