# White tissue on penis

I’ve had this white tissue on and around my frenulum for months now. I figured it’d go away on its own, but it has not. I am going to be booking a doctors appointment soon to get it checked out in person, but I’d like to have some inclination beforehand as to what the problem is. It doesn’t hurt whatsoever and my penis functions normally. I have masturbated more than what is probably healthy for a while, but I have very recently begun efforts to stop. There is also a minor amount of discolouration on the head of the penis as well. I am very much anxious about what this might be, but I’d like any info possible. Thank you

Hi Joe.  
I’d say you probably have lichen sclerosus or BXO. you need to have it checked with your doctor as soon as you can for a proper diagnosis and to start treatment.
