Someone on here said they were flying to Ireland a few weeks post op. I wonder how you got on. I am due to fly to Manchester from Dublin for a wedding 7 weeks post op but quess what that is the date I got for my review. I'd try to get an earlier reviw if I thought I could fly . it's about 50 minutes.
Hiya Attractac,
I flew to Bali at 8 weeks (there now! It's awesome!) so a flight less than an hour doesn't sound like a problem.
Our flight was a double one, first bit 12 hours, then a stopover and another 3 hours. Went well enough, just make sure to reserve extra leg space, so you can stretch the leg and even get up some!
Due to fly 18 Aug. Got my review date put back to 11aug. Flying Ryanair . not much leg room but I will ask. That was a long flight you took. Did you wear Ted's?
I can't see Dublin to Manchester as being a problem your not going to be sat down for long. The plains don't fly as high as the long hawl flights. It is more the long hawl flights they don't like to doing too early..Enjoy it
Got my review date changed to 11 august so hopefully consultant will give me go ahead. This is a very important wedding for me as my oldest sister who is I'll has just been cleared to fly. Please God we will both be there to support the sister whoise chikdy is getting wed.
