Whole Body has Muscle Tension and Tightness causing Chest pain, tension headaches ect

Hi everyone

I've been dealing with anxiety for awhile now. I've gotten most of it under control through clean diet and exercise and taking vitamins but all I really have left is severe muscle tension and tightness ect.

It's literally everywhere. My shoulders are always raised up 1-2 inches.. that's how tense I am. Same with my facial muscles and legs and stomach. I'm constantly catching my body tensing up.. and when I catch it I relax but it always comes back. The tension has caused chest pain, irritation,Tension headaches, stomach aches, restless legs and so much more. The doctors say it's just anxiety.

I've tried Meditation and Progressive muscle relaxation for 1-2 hours daily with no luck. I've also tried formula 303 a muscle relaxer.. magnesium,b complex. Nothing has helped.

I was wondering if anyone here has had this issue and what has worked for them. What I'm thinking I'm going to try is acupuncture and some type of muscle relaxer or Holistic herbs from a licenced practitioner. If that doesn't work.. I'll have to try something for anxiety but I've heard most anti anxiety meds make mmuscle tension and spasms worse.. so I feel stuck.

So far I've tried Welbutrin, celexa,Paxil,Mertazipine, hydroxzine, with bad side effects

A real full body message at a spa. Nail salon do back amd neck for a reanape price but a full spa message might be what you need. Forget trying to find it in a pill try a message. Many accupunture places can be of servie to you as well. At least go one time to see how it plays out.

Reanaoe haha..reasonable*

Thanks I'll try that. I have a back massager and neck and shoulders and leg massager and it helps but the tension always comes back. Did you ever try acupuncture? How did it work if so?

I hear so many like it. Im chicken with the needles.i tried it one time.i did accupressure. And massage is great. The nail spas are cheap for them. Gender doesnt matter they have a back room,

Hello Heat.

Yes i can relate to your problems, have you tried a shoulder & back massage ? , my partner practices massage and herbal treatments, this does work for tension and many of her clients have felt a big improvement a couple of days after , please give it a go if you can.
