Hi
I wish to come off Mirtazapine, so I last took 45mg nearly 6 days ago and I'm feel no withdrawal symptoms (unlike when I came off Venlafaxine, I experienced eye zaps and spasms). Is this normal or will I experience them a week or two later?
Just to clarify, I know it's best to slowly reduce the dosage, albeit I've taken a risk and stopped completely, I seem to be doing OK though so far.
Hopefully it stays that way for you and a lot depends on each individual and how long you've been taking Mirtazapine. Sometimes it takes a while before you really start to feel the effects of getting off of a medication and 45 mg to nothing is a big drop but I hope you keep doing well!

Sadly sometimes people feel well for about 10 days-2weeks, then BAM it hit you, don't mean to worry you, but don't flush any tablets you may have left down the loo.

Some times it can take up to 10 days to feel the WD, Be on your guard and best not to get to confident as I have done in the past.
HI PHILLIP 1975..i am no expert i have only been on PATIENT 3 WEEKS.but it has helped me so much i feel great compared to 3-4 weeks ago thanks to reading other members post.u do not say how long u have been on mirt or how u are feeling now with ANX/DEP/ECT ????..BUT TO GO FROM 45MG TO ZERO IS A BIG RISK I HOPE U CONTINUE TO FEEL OK.. WHY NOT LET OTHERS KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT YOURSELF SO WE CAN HELP YOU WITH ANY PROBLEMS THAT U MAY HAVE IM SURE THEY WILL.....GOOD LUCK..BLUESY
