I am getting post for artharitis but not pmr why?
No idea but I have reported it for the moderator to look at.
Posts have dropped off a lot in last few days. Hope people are not losing heart with all the recent inconveniences which, as far as I can see, were totally avoidable. Just leave well enough alone. All was pretty ok a month ago.
I am not getting any posts not even arthritis.
Yes. I thought it had gone a bit quiet.
me too!
Fewer posts, finally a chance to catch up!
hi
I am not getting posts too. In fact, I posted on the PMR site, a few days ago, but it did not appear, and my login all looking very strange, asking for new password etc… How do I remedy this ? Eileen, how do you contact the moderator ? It seems the format has changed ! I miss the forum!
i had the same problem for almost 8 days …changed my password and voila, like a bad penny …
Withdrawl symptoms were setting in ![]()
The notifications problem is being worked on - maybe that means it has to get worse before it gets better!
And remember - even if you don’t get everything by email - always look at the internal notifications box and see if there is more there.
Thank you Eileen, what ever ousaid worked i got 14 messages, also when i went into the notifications there were no messages from pmr followers.
hope you are well regards mad mags
You follow “arthritis” - is that RA or OA?
RA , but i suppose it would help to follow both as i have both, if this makes sense.
Having said yesterday that posts were dropping off, I wake up to find I have eighteen!
I was asking for the moderator’s benefit really! But RA has been very quiet recently so that is quite surprising.
Same here. A bit like the tide…comes and goes.
Gosh. What did I say?
Hi all,
I have checked every user in this discussion who says they are not receiving emails and all of the accounts are set up correctly and emails are being sent to all accounts as expected. If any user is still having problems after checking this post (you should have received an email about this post) can you please let me know and I will try and advise on an individual basis but I cannot see any issues.
As Eileen says you can also use this page https://patient.info/forums/me/notifications to check your notifications.
The only things that may make it seem like emails are not being sent is if any groups you are members of or discussions you are following have not had many new discussions or replies respectively.
To receive emails about new discussions you have to be a member of that particular group eg arthritis, not all users mentioning that group are members so won’t receive emails.
NB there are a few different arthritis groups - Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Reactive Arthritis .
Regards,
Alan
Thank you, Alan. I did wonder if perhaps there hadn’t been much in the interim and suddenly there have been a lot of posts and therefore emails. That appears to be the answer.
