Everything that everybody is feeling in this forum is completely and utterly normal. Our bodies are designed to respond to the many different chemicals going on in it; every single body contains their own unique chemical levels. That also means that every person reacts differently to them. Anxiety is literally the sympathetic nervous system creating the "fight or flight" response due to its reaction to the body's chemicals (like Adrenaline). Your body is triggering a danger, and you feel like running away from this feeling is the only thing to do. My best advice is that the "fight" option is probably the best option, you just need to trudge through it and realize that your anxiety is never going to truly harm you. I have suffered with anxiety attacks and "call-of-the-void" thoughts since I was in 6th grade. I am now almost finished with college and I still experience it mildly. But I do know that it gets better throughout the years if you decide to face your anxiety more often rather than run away from it. This devastating disorder needs more recognition and acknowledgement, it is not something to joke about. Stay strong everybody.
