Hi,
I have servere anxiety disorder and most regulars no here 😂
My 5 year old seems to be constantly getting ill for the last 2 months I swear she has had difference things around 6 times 3 of them being vomiting bugs! I’m in a panic that it’s something else causing it and I’m in a panic! Every time she has been doctors and they give her the usual exam and hey say everything is normal, but I feel
I want to take her back like why is she always getting everything find out, but they are not going to carry
Out bloods unless necessary so I don’t know what they can do! Is this normal do kids get it this much in first year of school because I’m beside myself
With worry! Thansk
Hi Lea, I don’t have children but I work with plenty that do. It’s a bit of a standing joke that their kids are always picking up something and then getting ill themselves! Kids are going to pick up these things because they are in such close proximity at school or nursery but I can tell you that none of their kids have ever had anything serious, just inconvenient for their parents! Don’t worry, I’m sure there are some mums who will also post and tell you this is pretty normal.
Thank so much for your kind words this makes me feel a little better knowing I’m not the only one 😂😊
Lea
When I was a kid I always seemed to pick up various health problems and I was always taking time off because of all the different illness I picked up.
If you are anxious regards your child go back and see the doctor, consider this if you eventually become a worrier you may fine that will get worse as the child gets older. Your GP hover will be understanding and will wish to discuss those fears you have with you.
Explain your fears when you go, Mothers do become anxious and worry regards child health, you are not alone.

Hi Bob,
Thank you for your kind words it really is a help! Spoke to my doctor this morning and she wants me to take her to walk in kids blood test next week which makes me more worried as now I am worrying about the worst case scenario and thinking all sorts like child cancer, because she is always tired, dark rings around eyes and complains her legs hurt, again could be kids being kids but I feel like I just want to sit and cry worrying about her!
Lea
You see your GP next week, all I can advise you to do, I know it is hard, to bide your time. We have no kids only a Dog and we are like you when it comes to His health problems.
Try not to consider the worse case scenario, they can be uncommon and you will make your child pick up on your concerns and fears. I would never say you are being irrational, just a Mam looking after your Daughter.
Good Luck for next week, let me know how you get on !!.
