My head feels like its just draining....wierd I know! I notice it mainly at the end of the day but sometimes it will happen during the day. I can be watching tv and then my head just winds down, I guess that's a way to explain it....anyone else? Also noticing achy neck, wrists mind arms. Have been getting warmer, red face but not proper hot sweats just yet :-)
I think you need to get an MRI on your head. Middle aged women can have benign meningioma's which are tumors growing from the lining of your brain and pushing the grey matter. It happenend to me and I can't stress enought how the medical system treats symptoms and the last place they ever look is your brain. Especially if you are having seizures and don't realize it. I just got sensory experiences and my eyes were open so I thought it was just going into menopause. I'm 52. Not so. It was the tumor. Was removed a year ago and I'm doing great and am back to normal. Found it really quick and wasn't strung along with test after test. MRI found it.
That's really interesting thank you. The gp doesn't seem concerned! Had an mri about 18 months ago about something else so is loathe to do another one. Drives me mad though as wake up during the night with it and when I wake up....like a heavy head feeling. I'm seeing the gp on 17th so will mention again. It's funny because sometimes I feel like I'm drifting with my head and then jolting and wondered if that was seizure like events...the gp put this down to tight neck muscles.
I would definitely get a second opinion or see a neurologist. And keep a diary of the events to show your doctor.
