Hi. I’m a 13 year old male (obviously) and have noticed today that I have a quarter-of-a-penny size deep red mark on the head of my penis. I am 100% sure this spot was not on my penis yesterday. I’m not sexually actively so it’s not an STI or anything. The area of discolored skin and my entire penis head in fact is a bit rough and looks liked it’s cracked, like normal dry skin. Is it possible that my penis head is just dry skin? The spot doesn’t hurt but it feels a bit rough to the touch. Do any of you know how a small red spot can show up on the head of a penis in under 24 hours? Am willing to talk to my doctor but I don’t have an appointment for a few months and don’t want to have to talk to my parents about it.

Try an anti-fungal cream like Daktarin or Canesten (buy at any pharmacy) - it could be an infection similar to athlete's foot. If that doesn't help, you should be able to get to a sexual health clinic quicker than your doctor (though why a wait of 3 months?)
