My wife had cataract surgery 4 weeks ago and today started to experience pain. We don't go back to the eye Doctor for another 10 days. Can someone tell me if this is normal, part of the healing process? They took her off of all of the drops about 5 days ago. Thanks for any help.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think it is normal.
When in doubt , call the Doctor.
Thanks Ladies, My wife called the Doctor's office this morning and they put her back on the drops she was getting. The Doctor is not in until next Tuesday so we have to wait it out. This has been a nightmare!

They put her back on two of the four drops and the pain has subsided somewhat. Thanks to all.
