I have BV, and I'm in a new relationship with a girl. I've been pleasing her, but haven't been letting her please me, as I don't want her to get BV.
Is there any way to control it, or is there really no hope?
How do I get rid of BV?
I went on antibiotics, but I don't think it's gone.
Buy tea tree oil suppositories and keep in fridge. sleep with a light very small tampon to keep it from leaking out. You can go from having full bv to waking up with it gone. Change your diet to keep it away. Sugars will feed bacteria and take ultimate flora 50-90 billion vaginal probiotic. There's one by ultimate flora. Good luck
Maybe try a gel that you can buy called balance active x
I plan to try the green tea that Mary suggested but so far taking a Multi-Vitamin for women daily, 2 femdophilus probiotics, 1 vitamin D3 gel capsule 1,000 IU, and a 500 mg Folic acid has seemed to keep it away. Since the Mult Vit. has vitamin D3 in it I take the second dose of Vitamin D3 1,000 IU at the end of the day right before bed. The probiotic I take 1 in the morning and 1 at night. I did take two days worth of metronidazole and I think it has to be done to clean out the bad bacteria before starting up the capsule regime. It might not go away immediately but if you keep taking them you will notice the symptoms go away bit by bit...it can take a couple of weeks to kick in because the vitamins have to become regular in your body before they really start to work. Patience is key to getting it to go away.
TRY THIS
vitamin c with rosehips (it should say that on the capsule bottles)
make sure its a non coated capsule
you need to insert it in ur vagay before bed. symptoms will dissappear by next morning.
do this for 3 days then take them orally .. to maintain normal vaginal ph take probiotic.. i use 9 strain, 50 billion probiotic.
good luck .
Just want to say that I empathise with you. I tried the Vitamin C in the vagina trick and it only makes the discharge worse. 'n'
Taking it by mouth is better. One thing everyone should keep in mind is that when you take ANY vitamin by mouth the time that is takes to actually work can vary from person to person. Some vitamins can take anywhere from 2 weeks to an entire month before you start to see any results. x
