I may possibly need to get hydrocele surgery soon and I was wondering If I'd have to travel out of state, or if any hospital would perform it. (I live in arizona, for reference)

I had mine done in an out patient surgery center in the same building as my urologist. So you should be able to have the procedure where ever your doctor has privileges.
No need to travel. It can be done at any hospital and by any urologic surgeon.
It is a simple surgery and recovery takes about 4 weeks.

Some urologists are now doing this procedure in their in-office surgical suite instead of the outpatient surgery center or the hospital.
