Will sertraline help my low mood?

Hi iv been on sertraline for 2 months in total first 50mg then upped to 100mg but I still feel very low mood and unmotivated.

Any ideas if this will get better?

Hi Liz I've been on sert for 2 months myself and know what you mean I feel like I've got no go in me and keep having days were I feel down, but from what I've read in the sertraline group it will get better with time so just keep your chin up and keep going your not alone in this.

Hi Liz1234 I was on sert for about 3months and felt the same as u they then increased my dosage and I slept all the time for near enough two weeks until I decided I couldnt take it anymore so went back to the Drs and am now being weened off them as my dosage was too high but my mood never improved. Just keep talking to your doctor if u don't feel any different in a month let them know as it usually takes a while to kick in

Thank you Steve, it's a struggle but you just have to keep going, just want to enjoy life again.
