Winning up Citapolram 2mg for six months and refuced for the last week to 10mg

Since I reduced to 10mg I am fighting with withdrawal symbtoms, for the last three days feeling my mind is like blank can't concentrate sufficiently as I am student for my final degree in psychology and my last exam is 2 days time. I don't what to do anything feeling tired even after I gave myself for sometime to recover almost one week didn't do anything. I have even tried a different techniques for my concentrations and I feel like giving up!! Apart of me telling me no I should force myself because it's only one exam but, I can't think and feeling extremely tired and sleepy, please any advice would be helpful.

Thank you

hi safiya. it's not a good move to start reducing ur meds during exam times. wait until the exams are all over & less stressed. then do a gradual reduction when u feel ur upto doing that. u could start by taking one 10 mgs tab and half the other for a few days/weeks and see how ur body responds. when ur ok on the 15 mgs think of lowering it further to 10 mgs and then 5 mgs. u could do the alternate day reduction approach also. its important to do this with the collobaration/supervision of ur GP or Uni Doc. it needs to be supervised.

meantime, all good luck with the exams.

Hi Caitline, thank you very much for your wonderful advice, I feel like is too late for me to go bCk but it's worth to try to contact my GP about this. xxx

Caitlin has pretty much nailed it with her reply. I would go back to your doctor and rediscuss this with them.

I agree with other members of the forum, go back and see your doctor.
