I am getting majoy anxiety about getting my wisdom teeth out. I spoke with my doctor about it, and she told me to tell the dentist to use laughing gas, or nitrous (I'm not sure what its called) gas. I have had teeth pulled out, but that was a decade ago! I suffer from anxiety/panic attacks. I'm terrified. I have such bad anxiety that I wake up stressed and I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. I'm more nervous about the gas and the recovery. Help please?
It's called nitrous oxide or laughing gas. I had it done using that gas. It was a breeze! Once they give it to you the next thing you know they're all done!
I remembered nothing. You wake up very happy and sometimes giggling a little bit but not all people Giggle.
My dad was there with me and I just remember being in a really happy mood when it was all done. I don't remember having any pain but of course later on you may have to take something but everybody's different.
try to relax it's really not bad at all . If I had to do it all over again I definitely would.

Also, if you're feeling anxious and having anxious thoughts, don't try to fight them off. It would get worse.
Instead, acknowledge the feelings and thoughts and say to yourself "I am having anxious feelings and thoughts. It's OK. I can handle it and it will pass. ". Then, calmly imagine the thoughts and feelings floating off into the sky and dissolving.
By doing that And accepting it, you will keep your brain calmer, and you will be less anxious. Then do some slow deep breathing. Repeat the whole process as often as you need to.
remember, as soon as you get a negative thought, accept it and watch it float off .
in other words, Nip it in the bud! πΈπ
