I was wondering if anyone has had their wisdom teeth pulled while awake?
I have a Wisdom tooth I need taken out and don’t want to be put to sleep.
But its causing me worry and anxiety pretty bad.
I’m sure more than positive they can give you something for the pain and anxiety.I have more than 14 teeth pulled and 45 minutes under an IV sedative but I remained awake after the first two weeks I begin to feel no pain and everything was healed.Are used to be afraid of dentists and I used to have panic attacks in there all the time.I hope you feel better
yes i did and i sat in that chair for a whole hr cause everytime he would try to pull my teeth and i would get anxiety and tell him to stop
Hi had 4 wisdom teeth removed at same time, injections in several places and i felt nothing, the down side though i was so numb afterwards right up to my nose, i couldn’t talk, or control my dribble for some hrs. afterwards. But pain wise none at all. i had option of hospital removing just 2 and my dentist removing the other 2 later on , this way i wouldn’t have had to have such a degree of numbing done at one time but i thought no i just want to get this over and done with all at the same time.
