I was on 60mg of Mirtazipine for around 4/5 months and have recently been told to come off them (they weren't working), although my doctor told me to cut down gradually i just stopped taking them and i have now been extremely dizzy for 3 days, if i take a few doses will this help??

Everyone is different. You should probably expect to have some pretty major withdrawals by just stopping. You could go back on to a dose that will make you feel better and slowly withdraw from there, but not until you are stable. Maybe try taking 30. Stay on that awhile, then begin a taper. Some people have little problems coming off mirt, while others suffer tremendously. Don't be afraid to go back on in order to get off.
I can recommend taking it a lot slower. I'm going down a quarter of a tablet at a time, once a week, twice a week, and so on & had no bad effects on this method so far, except I sleep a bit less and feel more alive after the reduced dose.
