Withdrawls 4 weeks after reducing sertraline is this normal ?

Hi

Been on sertraline for about 3 years up to max of 150g. Had got down to 50 my for 3 months then my father died and dr suggested increase to 75mg short term. 5 months later I decided after speaking to dr to start to reduce . Dr said cut out 25 mg a day so I did this 4 weeks ago. Only real withdrawls I noticed were slight agitation and easily annoyed (4 kids )but that slowly went. But yesterday I started to feel dizzy , heavy headed , pain in head and eyes, bit low, hot flushes . Is it possible to start to get withdrawls 4 weeks after reducing ?? I am currently only taking 25mg first thing and 25mg in afternoon . Was finding even taking 1 x 50mg just made me so so so tired and angry and frustrated for several hours, which is one of the reasons I want off of these .

Your Doctor? First with Zoloft you should taper off between 10% to 25% A week not cut down 25mg a day...and then you did it in 4-weeks? Withdrawal is going to happen when you stop taking the Med or reduce the dose to a hard level. My situation, I cut down 25% a week and in the last week I was on 15%, finally zero...It went fine since then. Good luck!
