Had decompression surgery 6 months ago, been having a lot of ear problems lately. Went to the doctors they said I had eczema in my ears and they are still very red and sore been given two types of ear drops but they really irritate me, the drops won't go down and it makes me feel really dizzy and strange when I use them? Any ideas?

Simular to me Danielle, I am 20 month post op and had mine syringe every 6month and one is sore and itchy and keep filling up with wax. I have tried everything from drops to ear calm which was 8pound and does help but not for infections. I have horrendous tinnitus. I'm at my gp on Monday. But I'm also at the hospital for my head on Tues so will ask if it's part of condition. I also have dizziness since my op too, which has improved but still take med for it now and again. X
ive tried spray and ear drops nothing works, maybe we're not supposed to put things in our ears who knows. Good luck and I hope something is sorted with you soon👍🏻xx
Hi , I've had ear pain for a while with itchiness and wax , doctors , hospital even dentist could see anything , I use ibroprofin on inside of my ear but not near my ear canal and down the side of neck following ear canal I always ask a pharmacist first I also use a pain pen which helps
