so I had a crazy day yesterday , mind racing , and couple of symtoms that kept on switching around , and yesterday I also started my new pills , Cilift for my depression , I drank it at 7 pm last night , but for the first time in along time I woke up in panic around about 12 ,30 am , first thing 5hat popped up in my head was my heart , but i took blood pressure was fine and heartrate was between 68 and 78 , but when I put my hand on my chest it feels as if my heart is pounding hard , like out of my chest , I also got the cold rush feelings in my shoulders , wich was bit weird but took me 2 hours again before I fell asleep , was this my anxiety through the day or was it the new pill that could of triggerd this ?
Citalopram causes all sorts of side effects but these usually subside after your system gets used to them, could take several weeks. Try to stay calm and stop monitoring and analysing yourself too much, in my experience that causes even more anxiety.
i would say its probay the pills
