I thought I had a yeast infection, my primary prescribed medicine Monday for me for it, on Wednesday my ob did a cultural for yeast and bacteria infection, they both came back negative. She then told me that she is prescribing a medicine for herpes because it can sometimes show like a yeast infection. I have never had a "outbreak" so I'm freaking out not knowing, she never ran any tests at all for herpes, my boyfriend of five years has only been with one women before me (I also know he is not cheating) I feel bad because what if I potentially gave him herpes to 😩 Plus this is something I will have to deal with forever, I have a picture of what my vagina looks like but I don't know how to post it, please help me
I think she should run test before giving you a prescription for that! Unless she saw something while your visit that made her think that. ?
No she told me that it looked like a bacteria infection no herpes 😩
