Worried about penis inflammation.. HELP!

I'm in desperate need of help since I've had inflammation on my penis for nearly two months now and 3 different doctors told me that it's normal. Sexual history: Had unprotected sex, got diagnosed for chlamydia, treated it with 5-days course of Azithromycin and 5-days course Cefuroxime. After the therapy i tested negative for chlamydia, I even did a second test two weeks later and it also came negative. Ever since I had chlamydia symptoms I had a burning sensation and soreness in my penis head, mild inflammation in the penis shaft, inflammation and redness under the penis head, swollen penile corona and redness in my penis glans, especially around the opening of the penis hole. Even when I'm sitting and doing nothing I can still feel the soreness and the inflammation. Its driving me crazy!

anyone?

i dont see anything wrong.maybe youre just still sensitive to the infection you had and your nerves are still on edge

But it’s a really weird pain and i don’t know if it’s the surface or the urethra..

Was that unprotected oral or vaginal or anal sex?

Did you tested positive for Chlamydia?

Have you been tested for herpes?

Was the sex rough?

Im pretty sure you have a yeast infection, they can be contagious , its given you balanitis and its not going to show up on a test. Eating a lot of yogurt and getting an antifungal cream over the counter will work fine I think. They arnt as common in men as in woman but they happen.

Please Betty, see my thread and reply.

Thanks.

  • vaginal
  • I tested positive for Chlamydia, after treatment I did two tests, both came negative
  • No I haven’t
  • Kinda..

I’m circumcised though, my doctor told me that balanitis occurs only in non-circumcised males.. Could the antifungal cream make things worse if its not a yeast infection?

Im pretty sure you misunderstood him, balanitis just means an inflammation its not a disease but yours is probably caused by a yeast infection since it happened after you took an antibiotic. I actually think it happens more in males that do habe their foreskin removed, yeast infections happen more in males that have not been circumcised though, that might be what you heard. Yeast infections can occur from sweating if the bacteria is on your body it can spread and grow, and antibiotics will give them to both males and females. Trying a creme will not harm you unless you are allergic to the creme itself.

Thanks a lot for the advice!

Hey buddy, I am glad to see your post as i have been suffering from exact similar situation. I had sex with an stranger and developed burning stinging pain in penis at glance and under where the urethra is, no discharge, that stranger called me and told me that she has chlamydia. I got Rocephin shot and oral Doxycycline for 2 weeks and it didnt get better. My doctor told me that i likely have developed prostatitis and has put me on Levaquin and Doxy for 4 more weeks, its been three weeks and its not better .

so wondering how are you doing and if your pain is better or not, i also had few sensitive skin patches on my glance penis

please help and give me a good news that its going to be ok as i am emotionally torn and so depressed.
