First noticed one side of my scrotum and base of penis was very red and dry looking about 5-6 days ago. Went to clinic two days ago and had the area examined by a Doctor. She said it looks irritated, most likely due to a fungal infection. I asked her about herpes and she said it does not look like herpes because no blisters or ulcers can be seen and its been about 4 days since I said I first noticed it. She ordered a blood test to check for syphillis and I asked her to test for herpes also. I had protected sex (condom) with a female stranger 15 days ago (NEVER AGAIN!). Please any feedback, opinion, or advice would be greatly appreciated. God bless
