I was on remeron but had to get off due to my liver not reacting well. Been off it for about 2 to 3 weeks. Anxiety is back no appetite... mornings r really bad. The doc prescribed me celexa but I am worried about taking it cause I know my appetite can get worse? Any experiences with celexa u had would be helpful.
I was on 40 mg of Citalopram for 5 years, and never had any issues with my appetite during that time, including start up.
It worked wonderful for me for 5 years; I was really disappointed when it quit working. I did have a rough start up period; probably made worse due to my doctor increasing my dosages way too quickly.
Hi Elizabeth, how are you finding sleep being off Mirt? I am still on Mirt but it’s not really helping my depression as such. I started Citalopram with it last week but I felt really sleepy for 4 days but everyone reacts differently. My doc has started me on Venlafaxine now and haven’t had any side effects I could not cope with. Once Ven kicks in I will be reducing Mirt.

Sleep was difficult at first while off...but they stopped me cold turkey...not on anything right now. I did a test that tests your DNA to see what meds are a good match for u. I'm only on lorazepam which is not doing much.
