Worried as hell

I had sex with an Asian CSW in Thailand. At 3 months post exposure, my test are negative. It was duo combo test. Now, I m having red spots on my arms n hands and its over face now. One swollen lymph node. Warm hands . no fever, sore throat. Should I get tested again. ? Or is it other viral infection. Please help, I'm really worried.

People always say at 3 months you can be certain and it always causes questions

But actually even 1 month after exposure test results are very very very very unlikely to change, so 3 months is an absolute rock solid certainty that you are completely fine.

Plus might I just say, you do not know this persons sexual health status you do not know she has hiv she might well not of, but lets say she did have HIV and she was in her most infectious stage (new exposure) the chance of a man getting this from a woman is less than 1 in 1000, it is probably one of the hardest things anyone can catch

One swollen lymph node is not a sign, hiv causes more, red sports on arms and face are very common and they actually have a name, your warm hands are 100% from anxiety, you have no fever or sore throat

I wouldn't even say it's a viral infection, it's called working yourself up and anxiety

you are 120% hiv negative, I could put my life on it

Livelife( thanks for the reply). You were right regarding the status of that girl. I don't know her status but test results prove it. Now, I have read regarding the window period of antibody production. Based on my symptoms, could there be delay of antibodies production after 3 months.

2. Exactly at 88 days, tested negative with p24 combo test. Is it conclusive or do I need a stand alone antibody test finally. ??

3. I visited dermatologist for my red spots . he called them HSP (herloch scholein purpurea). And advised a full blood exam including kidney test. Also told that there is no treatment for these spots. I am wondering its a viral infection. Could it be due to HIV ?

4. Can stress/ anxiety leads to weight loss, loss of appetite ?. I will be glad if you answer my query.

No there is no chance there could be a delay, I think the latest time someone seroconverted (hiv symptoms) was 8 weeks after exposure as opposed to the 4-6 weeks.

2) It is 100% conclusive this is what I was saying before even a HIV test after 1 month would be classed as conclusive, 3 months is basically just a solid concrete, but a HIV doctor once said online that he has never once seen HIV results change after a month and he has seen HIV show up on tests at the month mark quite a lot!

3) I think the sports then are just a 'you' think, Like I suffer from ezcema it's kind of the same thing, it's not caused by a viral infection but stress can bring it on, It's not related to HIV no, A doctor would also know what  a HIV rash looked like

4) Stress/anxiety can cause any symptom in the world, When I go through bad anxiety I don't eat for ages (and then lose weight) Anxiety can cause, rashes, night sweats, headaches, chest pain, tingling and numbness

Another thing is ages ago I used to have a phobia of being sick and I constantly always felt like I was going to throw up and the doctor said to me when we are so obsessed (like you are with HIV) with an illness looking at symptoms and everything our body will start having these symptoms!

You need to relax there is no way in hell you are HIV positive and you are going to drive yourself insane with this

Livelife( thanks again for your reply), I admired your consideration a lot. But one thing is confusing as per your statement which I would quote

"I think the latest time someone seroconverted (hiv symptoms) was 8 weeks after exposure as opposed to the 4-6 weeks." Then again you said -

"

a HIV doctor once said online that he has never once seen HIV results change after a month and he has seen HIV show up on tests at the month mark quite a lot!"..

I didn't get it. Coz 1 month is nearly 4weeks. And the latest person tested positive at 2months i.e 8 weeks. So I am sure that doctor must have the information regarding the latest seroconverstion. I m not an expert of judge everything but its something I found fishy. So which one is correct ?

2. Does it mean that people can still seroconvert even after 8 weeks or more ??

3. If HIV experts claim duo test conclusive at 28 days, then why to test again at 3 months ? This is controversial as far I guess. But your valuable reply would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi jack.

You don't have hiv that's sure. Regarding the issues you have you will never get any answer as I am . Try to increase your immunity and I am sure you will develop problems with your stomach and joints so prepare to avoid those.

There are lot of people out there on similar case with no answers. Are you alone of with family try to avoid sex if yes.

Avoid Dr. Google.
