Does anybody elses anxiety increase around Christmas time?

Yes mine is caused by my family, although now I find I am not to bad however regrets and sadness comes to mind. Now we are here alone. Me, Pax and HazeL

Yes but sadly I don’t FEEL like I’m extra stressed but this is the second year where I have had severe symptoms at the exact same time. The rest of the year I’m more or less ok?!
I think mine anxiety at this time of year is due to the dark, dull weather and short days. I seem to get worse from October onwards! Roll on spring!

I think its due to the dark nights as well and the cold miserable weather. The stress of Christmas doesnt help either. So much expectation to be 'merry' and enjoy the festivities when really all I want to do is go to bed and wake up on 1st Jan lol. I make Christmas as special as I can with 3 children but its hard when anxiety takes over any enjoyment!
