Hi all

im confused

just had a telephone call re wound check up next Tuesday i did mention would that be the removal of clips and was told oh no your surgeon doesn't tend to use them

last year i had clips and had them removed by d/nurse

so my question is what did he use on my wound?

any advice grateful

thye are going to use in me a glue inside stiches and then glue otuside

They probably used glue.  They stitch the inside with dissolvable stitches  and glue the outside.  This is what I had with about 4 stera strips across the wound.  It leaves a fine line and no other marks, which looks very neat.  It seems to be very popular these days.

Yes my surgeon used glue and dissolvable stitches. I'm 17 days post op and it's a lovely neat line which you can hardly see.
