Hello people. I've had these two wounds on my penis for two months, my dermatologist said it's just an inflammation. However, I'm still suspicious, they don't hurt. However, sometimes they get swollen.
What is happening for your penis: do you wash with soap and shower gel? Are you sexually active? If so do you use condoms? Do you apply ANYTHING to your penis such as Lube, skin cream, lotion or moisturiser

Hi @Wee_Dugie, i wash only with water and soap. I am sexually active, but i’ve been checked twice for IST’s and all came non reagent, since then i’ve always used condoms, i’ve been to the dermatologist and she prescribed a skin cream, but it haven’t worked so far.
So here is the best tip, you can really help your penile skin become more healthy by not using ANY soap or other forms of body wash on it, such as shower gel. NEVER apply these directly to your penis - if you shower regularly wash everywhere else on your body first, then fully rinse your entire groin and genital region with the running shower water.
Clean the tip area of your penis by rubbing with the inside of your hands and fingertips - NEVER use hot water on your genitals.
What is the name of what the dermatologist has prescribed to you? Is it a white cream or a clear ointment?
When did you start using it? Are you closely following the directions of how to use it?
