I have a slight pain in my wrist. I got it about 4 months ago and it goes away for a few weeks then comes back for about a week and goes away again. I can lift things fine and pull things. It only hurts a little when I push, like with pushups and exercises like that. It not very painful more of just a slight dull pain. It is on the top part of my wrist on the back of my hand and almost directly in the middle of my wrist. It is now swelled or bruised at all and when I ice it, it feels better until I put put a pushing pressure against it. It doesn't hurt at all when just sitting there and I have full mobility with no pain at all. Like I said its only there when I mainly do pushups. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you
Sounds like tendonitis....inflammation of a tendon in your wrist. Ice treatment is good and also paracetamol taken according to the recommended dose. Paracetamol is an anti inflammatory. Take it every day for a week and see if it helps. If it gets really bothersome you can have steroid injections but not until its really painful. No need for total rest, but do take care.
Paracetamol is not an anti inflammatory. Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory. Paracetamol is a mild analgesic. Please discuss your symptoms with a GP or if you want to try to self treat for a week, seek advise from you local pharmacist about appropriate anaelgesic/anti inflammatory drug regime

Have you been to a doctor at all ? I ask this because sometimes we do things that we don't realize that cause us pain. You may need to have x-rays done to make sure of what's going on, you could cause more damage not knowing what could be wrong. Please keep us informed with what you find out.
