I had a swab test done is it possible it could be wrong?.. And how long do you have to have it without suppressive therapy before it shows up on a blood test? The guy I got it from claims he doesn't have it I also had my ex get whom I was with 2mo prior get checked and he doesn't have it either.. I personally think the other guy is lying he showed me the results which said "your test results were benign" it didn't say anything about hsv1 or hsv2 or no other detailed info just that short sentence. He also claims he got checked for other STDs and it had no info about that either...
A positive swab is rarely wrong. A negative swab can be wrong, however. Question about suppressive therapy depends on when the person started taking the meds and if there were any breaks, also for how long.
That's why I'm thinking his results were benign because he's on meds but he's not being honest with me about it... I strongly believe he's the culprit I just don't like feeling like I'm crazy because he's putting all the blame on me
