Xray Fine after 20 weeks

Hi all just got home and the Surgeon is really so made up that my hips are level, and looking good, very pleased with it all so far, and says that the muscles in my left leg will regrow or should continue to regrow as they myst have wasted away more than the right ones did... And he wants to see me again for a final Xray in 8 months time...

So....odd pains will come and go, as we know they all do, from time to time....

Keep in touch.....Ian.

Good news Ian

My surgeon appointment at 8 weeks is on the 18th and apart from a few aches and pains it all seems OK, so with luck back to work. Thanks for your encouragement in my early days pre op. Hope it all keeps progressing well. 😎

You have been and still are so important in my recovery -

I hope both of you are doing really good and in good spirit(s) -

Tot ziens, Ian

big warm hug

Did you have to be xrayed.. I've been told to be xrayed

both hips for my 3month appointment in January.

then 6month, then 1 year, then yearly for ever..

Cathie

Good for you Ian, great!

Which is much different than my French doctor.

He said I only needed to go back and see him if I had a problem.

I never did so I have not seen him since I left the hospital.

Don't you think that is kind of odd, no follow up visit?
