Does anyone know how my vision would react to a small YAG opening? If my capsule is full of PCO & fibrosis, what my vision would be? I mean, my pupil is going to expand way more than the diameter of the opening, so it'll catch all these around. What's going to happen then?
why are you asking this question? the opacified capsule will interfere with the clear vision from the opening. there may be some night time artifacts. do u want to yag but still be able to xchange?
Soks, what can I do? I found none willing to do an exchange. There is one guy who uses Aspira but he doesn’t recommend it for late exchanges due to shrunk capsule. It is veeery sad as I have almost no vision from this eye due to PCO yet dysphotopsia is as severe as it used to be. I trick myself everyday that I’ll do something about it. But what? My vision imballance is unbearable now. I can’t stand 25/20 in one eye and almost nothing from the other. YAG needed immediately (but can’t make this decision due to dysphotopsia…)
Maybe check with Codet Vision (across the border in Mexico) on your case, and perhaps even go for the RxSight LAL in EDOF mode (if they agree to do an IOL exchange)? If you do call, please post to let us know how it goes.
