Yay!,another symptom has me on edge

So,backtracking.. went to ER two night ago for shortness of breath, really bloated stomach issue, lightheadedness, shakes and weakness..  ekg, xray,Ct,bloodwork (except d-dimer,which was normal after all) all normal.. so yesterday I really felt motivated and had a pretty good day, even did some exercise (was a senior citizen workout ,don't ask lol) and all was fine. No shortness of breath.

Today I started the same.. was going along fine and then felt this airy/empty feeling in chest and I paused and almost panicked, breathing got shallower and I made myself lay down and fell asleep. It's still there. It's  not pain, not pressure,it's just like I can FEEL my chest.. probably doesn't make sense. So frustrating. If there was something wrong, wouldn't they have caught it the other night?  Oh man,is this worry over everything exhausting.

Im back, just thinking how frustrating this all is and how much time is wasted with worry. A "normal" person wouldn't even flinch at a feeling and non pain! Ugh..  and thinking what would I says if someone asked me what I'm feeling right now,and my answer being, "It doesn't hurt,it t feels like something is in my chest".  Wow. Ha. Oh,and my legs feel like lead, the reason can't be because I was sittings on them for a half hour. Sorry, just kind of laughing ar myself because it's just so sad sometimes.

My mom said something I'm the hospital the other night that was interesting to me. She said,id rather run my heart out, take the risk and drop dead than live a scared non life..rarely see friends anymore, during bad times anyway. Freaked when driving far, scared in certain stores..more days than not NOT doing what's you want and more days than not on edge, worry worry worry. Id go completely crazy" . And it makes total sense. Of course,I said "but you've never had anxiety issues In your life and you're  a powerhouse.. and I get it,of course it makes sense but then again how do you go about doing these things when your body is going haywire.. try to run or even walk fast right now,the ER will see me when my face is bloodied from falling on it. Adult coloring book, right, hand is shaking so hard,it'll look like a five year old did it and forget holding still and meditating,I'm a Mexican jumping bean. I try to take it to heaven etc but In the middle of an attack, forget it. Sorry for the ramble lol

Hey ur fine its just anxiety trying take over u likr it did me im always lighthead spaced out my legs are weak short of breath it is not fun

Yeah sounds like me right now, extreme hyper, fidgety and tense. Managed a few things around house but  clumbsy like a drunken sailer decided to stop forcing and am laying down with some lavender oil,a movie and will try a game . Nope, not fun at all. Prayers for all of us.

I have the same symptoms so I sympathize with you it really is terrible and terrifying to feel like you can't breathe. I also get a ridiculously bloated stomach, looks like I'm pregnant lol! But the shortness of breath is by far the worst part of it all. If the doctors have told you that its anxiety, I would try to believe them (even though its hard believe me). Do you notice your bloating happens after meals or randomly? Mine is completely random which freaks me out and I feel like theres this pressure in my stomach and chest and I feel like my stomach doesnt rise with each breath although it probably does, but my mind goes in panic and makes everything worse. I wish you the best of luck with everything!! You definitely are not alone in this nightmare.

Sara.. mine just bloats too but I actually had it happen before my anxiety hit the roof this month. I remember commenting that I'm about to give birth and laughing. I made no connection but I was short of breath around then too.. could it have anything to do with shallow breathing? Hmm.. it really got to me on Monday. Can't be helping when we already feel we can't get a good breath. Wonder why we bloat like that. Thank you..I wish you the best too! Hugs

I think you need to be re assessed. Can you call 111 , 999 if in the uK

Angela,I'm in the US and went to ER on Monday..my tests all came out normal.

I don't know if you read that I had numerous tests (ekgs,CT,blood work and X-ray) and a stress test five months ago too but that response, especially someone going through health anxiety.. well we are here to support, not feed the fear and in my opinion, that was a sad thing to suggest. Have a nice day.

Sorry. I meant well but take your point. No offence.

Im sorry I snapped at you.. just so stressed out. Know you have good intentions, just scared me to read that first thing in the morning.

ok.
