Yayyyyy, I'm going home

Just had the OK from Physio that I'm good to go home. Can't wait to see my little doggy!

Well done!

I know exactly how you feel, I am sure your doggy will be pleased too

this was my welcome on my first day home x

Well done you just remember first week takes it out of you so rest up as much as you can

Have a great weekend

Suexx

I appreciate every post you make! Congrats!!

Glad you can go home and see a very excited doggy. X

Lorna

Thanks Sue, I'm just dozing now!

You'll be fine Debbi. Just think positive. Good luck & keep us posted x

Hi Lorna, he was very excited! Normally he rolls over on his back for a tummy rub but because I couldn't bend down, hubby had to pick him up so he could give me a big kiss! He went bonkers but curled up next to me now fast asleep! X

Just take it easy when you go home.Remember to rest, ice, and elevate as well as taking pain medications. There is something about the statement of something " going to the bone" that describes just how profound the pain really is.Rest your body, take naps as your body needs that rest.Take care

Sounds just like my dogs x

My Jenny got depressed when I couldn't lean down to pet or pick her up, she is nearly blind and very deaf.

at nearly 18 I am not surprised but now she plays and is happier I am home.

hubbys are good at lifting doggies!x

BIG TIP from my nurse in hospital.....

dont let the dogs get into contact with you near the scar area.     It can still cause infection.

this is Jenny

Too sweet.

Well I hope I didn't do this twice if I did I am sorry. That is great you are getting to go home. I think being able to go home helps so much with our healing. Wishing you well on your recovery. Good luck....Barb

That is such a sweet picture. Our animals, especially an 18 year old dog that is going blind is so bonded to us.She was probably so worried.Im a nurse and work with NICU baby's.We put them Skin to skin with their Mom's and they fall into a deep sleep as they feel safe and. That life is good

Aaw, she's lovely x

Thank you x

Thanks Barb. I did put 2 separate posts on here earlier & you did respond to both do no, your not going mad! X

Yeppie!! That's great!!

First night in my own bed last night. I made it to 3.45 & then got up & came downstairs to sleep in my recliner. I've just put reminders in my phone for pain meds (good tip Graham, thank you). I may need to re-jig my timings if I keep getting up early! X

yayhhhhh  with you !!!!!
