Yeast infection or something else? Help me please

hi, i started a course of metronadazole for an infection in my tooth and heard it can cause yeast infections. i am burning down there and wonder if anyone can tell me if this is what it looks like or something else?

the last time i had unprotected sex was a while ago, could it be herpes? i have used thrush cream but i think it irritated and chafed my skin more than anything.
