hello, anyone who could help me I would be very very thankful!
So i noticed about 3 weeks ago that I had small pimples on my clit. It was right under the hood so it wasnt healing due to not being able to breath (i think). I called the GP and they told me to use things like sudacreme and germiline. It went away but as soon as I stopped using the cream it came back. I went back to the doctors and they took multiple tests and swabs. my doctor put me on antibiotics because she didn’t know what it was until the test results came back. so when the test results came back it came back for thrush but nothing else. she didnt tell me to stop taking the antibiotics or to continue to take them.
since starting the antibiotics i have had such bad irritation. i am red raw, swollen and in immense amount of pain (struggle to sit down, walk, sleep and even wipe when going to the toilet). So last night i spent 9 hours trying to get hold of an out of hours GP to find out what i should be doing. They finally contacted me at 5:40am to tell me i should continue to take the antibiotics even though the only thing i am suffering from is thrush. The GP said that the antibiotics is for a “boil” but i don’t have one, it was a couple tiny white heads. I don’t really want to use my thrush treatment until after i have finished my antibiotics other wise its juts going to come back and that will be very expensive. I have been using a little cream (canesten) but it hasn’t helped at all, it may help for about 10 minuites but instantly becomes itchy again.
Just to clarify, I did have Chlmidya about a year ago and took another test in case it didn’t clear up but it came back as negative so i know I am clear for that. (also havent slept with anyone else since the test)
I don’t really know what i am expecting posting this, maybe if anyone has had a simular thing, or maybe some advise on wether to stop my antibiotics or what i could do to help with the thrush until my course has ended.
