Yeast infection or STD???

I have been struggling with severe pain and itching in my vaginal area for the last week or so. I did have pretty rough intercourse without lubrication right before the symptoms started. I tend to get yeast infections often and have had my OBGYN treat them many times. This is just much more intense and painful than my normal yeast infection. I have noticed some pretty deep cuts under my vaginal opening which is worrying me, and tears at the top of my vagina as well. Any ideas on if this is a bad yeast infection or something else??
