Hi guys , I treated my yeast infection feb 20 with the three day pill treatment that goes up the vagina. I’ve been itch free since for almost a week now , and went to the doctor on Monday ( two days ago) cause I made an appointment feb 20 . My symptoms were gone but decided to keep me doctors appointment to make sure 

She did a swab test and an exam and said there was still yeast in there so she told me to get the dilflucan oral pill , and to take that ( only one comes in the box ) and I should be good. So took that Monday at 430. I forgot to ask if I could have sex afterwards so late Tuesday night / Wednesday morning ( 1 am ) I had sex with my boyfriend thinking it was okay. 

During sex everything was fine then middle of the night I began a subtle itch. 

Since it was an oral pill I took Monday it should still continue to work right ? Will the itch go away again?

Well did you have unprotected sex? Maybe your boyfriend also have yeast infection and you're transmitting it from one to another. Worth to check it or at least use condoms for a while to see if it gets better.

Hi Ashley, yes the pill should continue to work, you must’ve have triggered some irritation during or after sex, you should also give it some time.
