i had unprotected sex and oral sex one week ago i am unaware of my partners status he said he should he clean but hasnt gotten checked for herpes i have not had any outbreaks even though my immune system is pretty bad i get sick easily. i'm wondering if anyone recalls their first outbreak and if i should have anything to worry about since its been a week and as i read, its usally 2-10 days after sex, average is 4 days after intercourse, and its been 7 and nothing yet.
u can have it and not get an outbreak for months sometimes years after getting it

Many people (80% of HSV carriers) are asymptomatic or have symptoms so mild they think nothing of it.
You will need to go get tested in 4 months with an IGG type blood test. It is the most reliable test when there isnt an active outbreak, but tests for antibodies, which takes time to develop.
For all you know, you may already be positive as HSV is NOT tested for on routine STD tests, even when you ask for everything.
hi! I tested positive 3 times for igg and then 2 times negative for igg .. igms were always negative … the doctors told me that maybe i had contact but still maybe i dont have it and also because igms were always negative that meant it was never active. What do you think? i dont know if i have it or no
