Been poorly for good few months with foggy brain and memory loss which was quite scary but I put it down to age. After Christmas I started with really bad pains in shoulders, arms, back and the most terrible tiredness. Several trips to doctors testing for everything going but said first it was PMR then said menopause. Turned out I have zero vitamin D. He has given me 10,000 units daily for 8 weeks then told to buy over the counter and take them. Does that sound like long enough to sort it? How long will it take for my pains to go and get some energy back? At the min I am 46 but feel lots older and so restricted by the lack of vit d.
although vit d taken is needed you need to get out more esp when the sun is out because thats the best way to get it .and easiest absorbed
also whatch out with vit d it can cause constipation .
What were your vitamin d level. Mine were 15 I am currently taking 20,000 iu 1capsule every two days and also the vitamin d spray 3000iu
My level was 0, I was shocked when he said that and lost all my questions I was going to ask go
i would add ionic silica by good state with the vit d
sillica is good for bones and muscles and ionic means they are very small and easly absorbed .
My levels were 15 and was told to take two 20,000iu twice a day for one week. Then one a day ffollowing week and the one a week. I had upset stomach so was scared it would cause more upset stomach and took one every two days. And took 3,000iu spray twice a day. So maybe you should take one a day atleast for two weeks. As your levels are zero. ?
Hi am surprised you didnt get any injections for vitamin d either.
