I started Zoloft December 19th. It was awful. I was puking. Dizzy. Constantly felt like I was going to cry. So on January 19th they removed me from a 50mg dose of soloft to 20 of lexapro. I’m so incredibly sick I could die. My stomach is upset. I can’t focus on anything. Not to mention I have really bad fear of vomiting. I don’t know what to do. Is this normal.
Hi. I've been on generic Lexapro for 8 weeks now. I started on 10 mg for 3 weeks and had anxiety still, so I was bumped up to 20 mg. I just want to let you know that with some of these anti-depressants there are side effects, nausea is one of them. I had stomach cramps for about a week when I first started taking it. But it should pass. Mine did, and most of it's on this sure have experienced nausea a well. However if you're continuing to vomit and not able to keep anything down it may be more than just a side effect. It's flu season and you might very well have that. Also, it's important to keep in touch with your dr. to let him/her know what's going on. Good luck!

Gosh you poor thing..
I was bumped from 30mg mirt to 20mg lexapro.
I couldn't take it as I had all those symptoms too. Terrible time.
I dropped mine down to 10mg and still had trouble but I had withdrawals from mirt too.
I'm currently taking 7.5mg.. I can't get higher without my head going haywire..horrid feeling
I also have stomach issues and just had to see a gastro specialist..
It does work well for panic attacks etc though..
I'm sure if your vomiting it is too much for you and you should be on a lower dose.. most seem to start at 5mg for a week and work up...
I think you need to see your doc urgently and discuss your options..
