Hi, my dr prescribed me zoloft as i have ibs-d and also general anxiety and low energy.
I know the first few weeks can be rough. But after it kicks in how do you feel?
Do you always feel like a zombie and cloudy or do you feel normal and just happy?
I have hard times going places and being to aware of ppl around me and i cant enjoy myself.
Basically i just want to enjoy going places again and have energy and happiness again.
You will have some side effects to start with that might make you feel zombie like, headache, insomnia. Depends on you. As each day goes on you will start to feel better and better.. I've been on same meds for 9 weeks have odd day where I don't feel great.. but on the whole, This medication has been great.. I have GAD. Have for five years first meds didn't work for me.
My side effects lasted a week or so. Give the meds a try. Good luck

After a week you will be fine. You will be more focused than before. I went to work still I had no choice. I had just started a new job.
