Ive been in citalopram for 2 weeks, bad side effects, my doctor thinks im not getting the results in need so she wants me to start on zyban, not so sure if i will get side effects on this too and if it will work for my anxiety, help, information, reasurrance.
I dont understand a doctor saying that after 2 weeks a drug is not working it can take up to 8 weeks to work.
Is this a gp or a psychatriat?
It's my doctor....I don't k ow what to do..As of yesterday I started taking my full dose of 10mg.Yesterday I was a total mess but in the night I got super tired.Today I woke up with a mild headache..which went away and took my full dose again..but I feel so out of it..I'm calm..but feeling at work almost as to force myself to interact. Will this pass???I tell myself it will and I will get better..I'm just also thinking since this was only a one time episode I've had of anxiety. Should I really be on meds?? My doctor put me on it because the xanax she gave me was just too much for me and my body couldn't tolerate it.
AD take up to eight weeks to work and you wont feel the benefit after just 2 weeks.
