I’m 12 days post -op and was told to expect some bleeding following surgery for about a week. I did not bleed . However, the last couple of days, only when I go to the washroom (#1) and I wipe myself is there blood. Has this happened to anyone?
It has happened to me. My doc advised that its normal. Not sure how long that should last. You might want to consult your physician.

Yes. Mine lasted until follow up appointment at 6 weeks. I thought it was normal healing process. It was something called granulation I believe and she had to “touch up the tiny area” with something. I forgot what. I eventually did stop bleeding. You may want to call your doctor as you are healing and slight bleeding is completely normal at this point in your recovery as far as I know.
It also happened to me at about the 3rd week. I thought it would be ok to do some stretching exercises and that started it. My doctor Said not to worry unless you soak a pad. I did continue to have a little spotting up until about 6 months, so not to worry.
Yes it’s normal, I did not bleed till day 9 and lasted about 3 days it was very light and only after using the restroom. Hope this eases your mind :-)

Hi Mary yes this happened to me as well for about a wk but it's ok now, It's been 8 wks since I had a total hystermony and I feel tired every day since anyone else feel like this thought I would have bit more energy

I am 4 wks post op..nd last 2 days pinky when bn 2 toilet nd cramps..like period pain..av had vaginal hysterectomy nd repair..thought I'd feel bit better by now..but looks like it will take a good few weeks yet
