Hi everyone! Does anyone have any suggestions how to clean down there with an out break? This is my 1st outbreak and it feels like HELL I can’t even tell my parents because that would be the end of me. The first couple of days 1-2 I was using baby wipes because it was very painful. I started using dial anti bacterial but apparently your not suppose to use that. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m really concern this would be an reoccurring issue because my immune system is so low because of lupus sle medications that I’m on. It’s been 3 days since I’ve been using Valacyclovir. I have a follow up with an OBGYN to hear the results of the swabs she took but I’ve been having the the out break 12/4 Monday it’s been 5 days of pure hell. How long does it typically last for ?? I can’t pee or poop!!
Whenever u pee pour warm water as you're doing so. And I just cleaned with only water until the sore healed. And I would just pat the sore dry and cover it with Vaseline and gauze.
