Hello! I had my op on Dec 13. Um experiencing a burning sensation when urinating and my stools are soft but painful, is this normal? I also experiencing low back pain and pain on the left side of the incision which is a bit swollen.

Whatever your experiencing right now it's normal. You will feel all these back pain swollen left side of your incision and pain when urinating. I have gone thru that already and I am almost 3months post op. Resting is very important and also walk at least 10mins everyday . Wish u a quick recovery
Every body reacts differently to the operation. It will get better. Just make sure there isn't a fishy/rotten smell as this signifies an infection. Back pain eye take prescribed painkillers. And/Or place a hot bottle where the pain is. Incision will be swollen thats normal. Still not happy contact the hospital you had the operation for advice. There should be a phone number on your letter from the hospital.
