2cm hiatal hernia

does anybody else get symptoms with a 2cm hiatal hernia?

I have a 3 cm sliding hiatus hernia & have a cough , mucus in throat but not as bad as some who have pains in shoulders etc

I have gerd as well and had nausea for months.

I have a small hernia according to the endoscopy...I have pain chest...gerd...cough with mucus...I get light headed at times,I burp a lot too.

Some days are good,some not fun at all.

Do you have any symptoms youself?

Yes pretty much all of that. I've had it for years but over the past 4 months is the worst it's ever been. I've been on nexium for LPR fir 11 years but now I'm on ranitidine as well which I took to rid myself of the nausea I've  had for weeks. 

I think I have been underestimating the hernia over the years because I have been having these symptoms on and off for years but didn't think a small hernia could cause you to feel so bad. 

I always thought it must be something else. That said this is the longest it has lasted.
