I went for my second ablation attempt last week.

The first one was June 2016, where he could not activate tachy. He felt that was because I was at the time taking a benzo for anxiety.

So I took 10 months weaning off that and another anxiety med to have a second attempt.

Worst 10 months of my life coming off those meds.

So I went last week for the second attempt.

He was able to activate my heart, but seemed to only get up to about 140 bpm. 

He found out that I did not have AVNRT, but it is AT (atrial tachycardia).

In order to do that procedure, he needed a 3D imagery machine, and it was not set up that day.

So I have to go back May 7th for this. I also have to be put to sleep for this, and someone from the company that makes the 3D machine will be present.

After all the torture I went through coming off these med (and still going through), I was so deflated.

Having to wait another 4 months is disappointing.

And the day after this happened I had an episode

Never thought I would be going through this.  Grrrrr.........

I, too, felt deep frustration and anger when my 1st ablation was not only unsuccessful, Lolasmom, but actually led to much more frequent SVT.  But now, after my 2nd ablation, I'm able to offer you a much more encouraging report: no SVT for 6 months.  I still have ectopics and "flutters", but I'm very appreciative of and much enjoying the lack of SVT. I'm confident that you'll feel similarly when you leave your SVT behind. I, as always, wish the very best for you.

Thank you so much for that.  Kinda weird thinking it was AVNRT, and now being told is is AT.
