'Well went to see the physo, as the doctor said i had mechanical problems in my neck and shoulders, physio's reply after testing and manipulating me, no mechanical problems he could see, but asked me if they had mentioned i could have pmr, my reply was the doctors said no i did not have it, mmmmmm he said, go back in 3 weeks to see if the excersises have done anything.
Your physiotherapist sounds like he's on the ball.
yes when i go back he said he would do a report on his findings, he was a very helpfull young man.
I am eager to hear how this goes for you. It took a year to diagnose me and two rounds of what we here in the states call physical therapy. In fact, I recall at one session I was lying next to a woman who mentioned she had Polymyalgia Rheumatic and all the symptoms and I thought, hmmm, that sounds familiar. They kept thinking it was fybromyalgia but finally sorted it out with blood tests that showed a sky high SED rate and high Creactive protein. The exercises did help some but my favorite was always the final massage to loosen up my shoulders and all. Good luck!
